Anxiety Therapy
Helping millennial and Gen Z women overcome their anxiety and discover wellness.
Imagine a life worrying less about worst-case scenarios…
You’re exhausted pushing through your worry every day. Your friends and loved ones may not even be able to tell that you’re struggling as much as you are. You keep going through your daily responsibilities anyway because well you have to. But you’re needing help.
You’re worried about work, relationships, school, life decisions, career decisions, and what your friend may have thought when you said that thing yesterday so you’ve been awake at night replaying it in your head. You easily find yourself at the bottom of anxiety rabbit holes.
You do not deserve to feel anxious all the time. And you don’t have to. I can help.
How anxiety therapy can help
So… what do we do about this anxiety? I work with millennial and Gen Z women experiencing anxiety and I prefer to think of myself as your anxiety coach during our sessions.
We team up to gain insight as to why your anxiety functions as it does for you specifically. Then, we coach your anxiety towards wellness using tools to ensure you have these skills at your disposal to coach your anxiety for years to come. No anxiety band-aids here. Let’s get to the root!
We are going to be working some brain muscles in new ways all in the name of overcoming that anxiety that can be so debilitating. We practice being kind, compassionate, and understanding to your anxiety while at the same time, giving your anxiety a much needed reality check.

How to manage my anxious thoughts
We identify the anxious thoughts you experience and coach your brain to begin challenging those thoughts. We investigate where these thoughts are coming from so we can pull you out of the rabbit hole before you hit the bottom.
What can I do when I’m feeling anxious
Talk therapy is important, don't get me wrong. We do talk therapy together. Let’s also look at specific things you can do in the moment to get relief ASAP.
How to address anxiety about real worries
I don’t need to tell you that there are scary things happening in our world. When negative events happen in your life or there are real fears about real things (i.e. any news story out there), it makes sense to experience some anxiety. Let’s get you to a place where you can still enjoy your life.
Treatment for Generalized Anxiety Disorder
Feeling worried about basically everything? Generalized anxiety is just that. It's anxiety that permeates into various facets of our lives. We work together to challenge the relationship anxiety has formed with your brain and create a new one.
Treatment for Social Anxiety
If social situations are causing you distress, social anxiety counseling can help. We can help your brain turn off the anxiety alarm so you can stop worrying about being judged, feel confident, and actually enjoy time with others.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Anxiety
I approach anxiety therapy from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) viewpoint. This is because CBT has been shown to be highly effective when treating anxiety symptoms. In CBT, we address your anxious thoughts and your anxious behaviors. CBT gives you a good foundation for overcoming your anxiety.
Symptoms of Anxiety
Each person experiences anxiety differently. As an anxiety therapist, I take the time to get to know how you live with anxiety. Here are just some of the common symptoms of anxiety.
Feeling on edge - There’s a heaviness present. It feels as though you’re just waiting for something bad to happen all the time.
Excessive worry - You know you’re worried more often than you can handle. It may even feel nonstop.
Difficult to control your anxiety - You try to relax and you try to distract yourself. These methods are not working for you.
Avoiding anxiety triggers - You find yourself not going certain places or not doing certain things in an attempt to avoid what causes you anxiety.
Trouble sleeping - It’s hard to fall asleep, stay asleep, or maybe both. Anxiety hits you at night and your mind begins to spiral.
Heart racing, tense muscles, fatigue, headache - These are just some of the ways anxiety affects us physically. You can feel your anxiety in your body.
